Our guests and their families are indeed fortunate to retreat to a destination as tranquil as Bermuda, while we move into late October and the sun’s rays begin to cool off a smidge. Nevertheless, those of us looking to scare up a healthy amount of Halloween mayhem should thank their lucky stars. Both family-friendly and packed to the gills with local lore, Bermuda proves itself to be a unique setting for treats and frights.

First, you’ll want to get a decent lay of the land. Every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday walking tours meet outside The Book Cellar (5 Water Street) at 8:30 pm. Hear in chilling detail the haunted history of Bermuda’s many winding streets and forbidden alleys. Once you’re caught up on the true tales of days gone by and their ghostly remains—it’s time to bag some treats.
