Making The Reefs' Yellowbird Cocktail with Michael

Have you been dreaming about your next Reefs vacation - lounging on our pink beach and enjoying a refreshing tropical beverage with your toes in sand? Well we've got the perfect recipe to hold you over until your return to The Reefs - stir up a taste of Bermuda from home until we can welcome you back to The Reefs once again. Learn the recipe for one of our guests' favorites, the Yellowbird, demonstrated by The Reefs Resort Head Bartender Michael.

Yellowbird Recipe:

  • Ice
  • 1.5 oz Bacardi Rum
  • 1 oz Galliano Liqueur
  • 1 oz Banana Liqueur
  • Orange Juice
  • Pineapple Juice
  • To Garnish:
  • Cherry
  • Orange Slice


  • 1. In a shaker, pour in Ice, Rum and both Liqueurs
  • 2. Top off shaker with even portions of both Orange and Pineapple Juices
  • 3. Shake
  • 4. Pour into a Collins glass and garnish with Cherry and Orange Slice. Enjoy!
