The Reefs' Children's Policy

The Reefs has always welcomed children
of all ages. Many of our return guests first visited the hotel
when they were children.
However, we know at certain times, particularly during May
- August, we need to balance the exuberance of our younger
guests with the need for other guests to have a relaxing,
rejuvenating and pleasant vacation. Thus we have a new childrens
policy in the dining rooms and pool areas. |
Dining Areas
- Grill 56 - A children's menu is available from 6:30PM.
Families with young children who may find it difficult to sit
through an evening meal are strongly encouraged to dine before
7:00PM in consideration of others.
- Ocean Echo Terrace Grill - Families with children 5
years of age and under, are required to dine at 6:30PM. Families
with children 6 years of age and older may dine at any time and
a childrens menu is available here. Due to the limited number
and closeness of tables and as a matter of safety for guests and
our dedicated wait staff, parents are reminded to keep their children
in their chairs once seated.
- Coconuts - This venue has been voted the most romantic
spot for dinner in Bermuda and the best place to fall in love.
To ensure a romantic ambience for each guest, only children 6
years of age and older are permitted to dine at Coconuts.
Beach dining is available for adults and children over 13 years
of age.
- Dress Code: The dress code for The Reefs is elegant casual.
During evening dining, all guests no matter the age are expected
to adhere to the dress code. Unacceptable attire includes blue
jeans, casual T-shirts, tank tops, baggie shorts, baseball caps,
open- faced sneakers and flip flops. iPods, walkmans and video
games are not permitted in any of our restaurants at night.
- Room Service - We can arrange delivery of a childrens meal to
your room beginning at 6.00PM. We can also arrange babysitters
for a fee with advance notice, so that after your children have
enjoyed their dinner, you can enjoy a relaxed, leisurely and quiet
dining experience.
Pool Area
- The area around our pool is rather confined and the exuberance
of young children can be overwhelming to those seeking to relax.
To accommodate the needs of our guests, the pool and pool terrace
will be closed to children 12 years of age and younger from 5:00PM
to 7:00PM, during the months of May through August. Children are
invited to enjoy this area at other times when the pool is open.
