At all other times, daily rates include full breakfast, afternoon tea and gourmet dinner for two guests in hotel rooms and the specified number of guests in Condos. Rates subject to government tax and service charge. All policies are listed below.

At all other times, daily rates include full breakfast, afternoon tea and gourmet dinner for each guest staying in the Cottage. Rates subject to government tax and service charge. All policies are listed below.

All guest room and suites are quoted based on double occupancy and include daily breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. Our two main restaurants, Ocean Echo and Royston's, are open year round. Coconuts serves al fresco lunch and dinner daily in season.

Exciting improvements are in our future as we update hotel room bathrooms. To minimize disruption during this process, hotel rooms, suites, cottages, and food and beverage service will not be available to guests from January 3 until March 15, 2012. However, our luxurious 2- and 3-bedroom Club Condos and all Club amenities will remain fully operational at a new low rate on a room only basis.

Payment

American Express, MasterCard, Visa, cash or traveler's checks are accepted at The Reefs. The Bermuda dollar is equivalent to the U.S. dollar and accepted on Bermuda.

Service Charge    

The daily service charge covers tipping for our bellman, housekeeping and wait staff during breakfast and dinner throughout your stay.

• Spring & Summer – 10% of daily rate
• Fall & Winter – $19.50 per person per day for standard rooms, $21.50 per person per day for suites and cottages
• December 23 – January 3 additional service charge of $10.00 per day per person
• Club Condos have a 10% service charge year round

Bermuda Government Tax

9.5% of daily rate

Stays Over Different Rate Periods

Sometimes a stay will span across two different rate periods (e.g. spring into summer). Whether the seasonal rates increase or decrease, The Reefs will be happy to extend the lower rate to your entire stay if the number of nights in the lower period is the majority of your stay.

Deposits

A minimum two-night deposit is required to confirm a reservation.

Cancellations

Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. Therefore, we are forced to adhere to a strict cancellation policy. For “no show” and cancellations within 28 days of arrival, the two-night room deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee. In the case of early checkouts, the two-night deposit is applied to any cancelled nights of a confirmed reservation. If the accommodation is re-sold for the full period of the booking, there will be no cancellation fee.

Children’s Policy

The Reefs always welcomes younger guests. While the enthusiasm and excitement of children's laughter is enjoyable, as a parent we do ask you to respect other guests in the hotel who may be seeking a tranquil and relaxing vacation, especially in the evening. Please refer to our Children’s Policy particularly as it pertains to dining and pool areas during the summer months.

Smoking Policy

In consideration of our guests’ comfort and health, The Reefs is a completely smoke-free environment indoors. This includes all guest accommodations, restaurants, bars and the lobby.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out insurance against trip interruption and the possibility of cancellation fees.
