THE REEFS RESORT IN BERMUDA UNDERGOES EXPANSION OF FACILITIES
WHILE PRIVATE RESIDENCES ARE CONSTRUCTED
SOUTHAMPTON, Bermuda — From now until April 1, 2008, The Reefs will be closed
for renovations to this popular, acclaimed Bermuda resort hotel. A new and expanded
lounge with new entertainment area; two new restaurant venues and new kitchen; new
reception, lobby, and restrooms; all will enhance the experience for The Reefs’ guests.
Since 1947, The Reefs has been providing the ultimate in hospitality for its guests,
many of whom return year after year.
When The Reefs reopens April 1, the new bar and lounge, reception and restrooms will
be completed. The first guests of the season will have the opportunity to see the
redesign. Availability will be limited as not all of the rooms will be open.
“Each time we have closed the resort for renovations, our guests have been more than
pleased with the results. We continue to strive for perfection in offering guests an
intimate and relaxing Bermuda experience where they can ‘feel perfectly at ease,’” says
Managing Director Ben Tutt.
By July 1, the two new restaurants and kitchen will be fully operational. La Serena Spa
will continue to offer all of its luxurious treatments in the spa and on the beach
throughout the renovation; however, in 2009, La Serena Spa will move to an expanded
space, tripling in size. All of these enhancements will ensure the best experience for
guests to The Reefs for years to come.
Next door, The Reefs Club private residences will be under construction. Those who
enjoy visiting The Reefs to “feel perfectly at ease” in beautiful Bermuda, now can “live
perfectly at ease” with fractional ownership of these two- and three-bedroom homes.
