2008 Re-Opening
Whenever The Reefs has undergone major improvements our goal has always been to minimize disruption and maintain the same friendly atmosphere ensuring you feel perfectly at ease. It is our goal once again to ensure your stay is as relaxing as ever while The Reefs goes through our current enhancements. Whether you are a repeat visitor or first time guest, our attentive staff will be ready to help you in any way possible. When The Reefs re-opens in April, you will immediately notice improvements. You will check in at our newly renovated lobby and be able to meet privately with the concierge at a separate desk. We have also added brand new restrooms in the lobby. The bar and lounge meeting areas have been expanded and refurbished for your comfort. But most importantly, the service and attention to detail that has made you fall in love with The Reefs will remain the same.
The restaurant enhancements and construction on the new private residence club next door will continue after reopening. To ensure your Bermuda vacation is as relaxing as you deserve, The Reefs is not reserving rooms closest to the construction site. Renovations are expected to be fully completed on the brand new kitchen, new wine room and two restaurants in August. Until then all meals will be served ocean-side at Coconuts. For those who want to experience other dining options throughout Bermuda during this period we are offering breakfast only rates and our popular dine around program. La Serena Spa will continue to offer all of its luxurious treatments in its current location and on the beach until it moves to a larger location.
Our expansion with The Reefs Club is allowing us to reinvest and improve on The Reefs facilities and service. We are dedicated to making you feel perfectly at ease. Improving your vacation experience and maintaining our position as the best hotel in Bermuda is of utmost importance to us. The Reefs Club is not an addition to the hotel; it is a separate entity. Club owners will have their own entrance to the Club, infinity-edge pool, private Club room, fitness centre and steps to the beach. The Club will have dedicated staff and their own concierge. Each of the 19 two- and three-bedroom homes has its own hot tub on the verandah and a full kitchen. Club owners and hotel guests will share La Serena Spa when it moves to an expanded space, tripling in size. Both the new spa and The Reefs Club are scheduled to open in spring 2009.
