Nagma Walker
Nagma Walker

Nagma Walker, General Manager

Nagma has lived on Bermuda for 16 years. She joined The Reefs in April 2009 as The Reefs Club General Manager and part of the grand opening team. Nagma was promoted to Resort Manager in March 2010 where she oversees both The Club and hotel.

 

Prior to working at The Reefs, Nagma held management positions at other Bermuda resorts include the Ariel Sands Hotel and Beach Club and Elbow Beach Hotel.

 

An avid runner, Nagma enjoys a long run outdoors on her day off.      

Philippe Haddad
Philippe Haddad

Philippe Haddad, Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef

Chef Philippe brings more than 30 years of culinary mastery to The Reefs.

 

He began his career in his native Belgium, gaining valuable experience training in Belgium, France and England. A chef by training and entrepreneur in spirit, Haddad headed up the kitchen in his namesake, Philippe's Bistro, in Atlanta for six years. While in Atlanta, he orchestrated two U.S. Presidential dinners for Former President Bill Clinton.

 

In addition to receiving numerous accolades for his unique concepts, Chef Phillipe has written several food columns and teaches cooking classes.

David Dodwell, Jr.
David Dodwell, Jr.

David Dodwell Jr., Director of Rooms

Son of The Reefs’ owner David Dodwell, David Jr. is constantly reminded by repeat guests of how they knew him when he was in diapers! Growing up, David Jr. spent summers working various jobs at the hotel. He later went on to earn a Master of Management in Hospitality degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.

 

Prior to joining The Reefs as Director of Rooms, David Dodwell Jr. worked at hotels in Boston, California, Oregon and most recently, spent two years at 9 Beaches resort in Bermuda.

 

David enjoys spending time with his wife Kathleen and son William. However, in reality, he thinks their first child was a big yellow Labrador named Logan.

Anika Solomon-Trott
Anika Solomon-Trott

Anika Solomon-Trott, Front Office Manager

Anika joined The Reefs team in May of 2010 as the Front Office Manager and brings with her more than 12 years experience in the hospitality industry.

 

Prior to joining The Reefs' team, Anika worked for the Coco Reef Hotel in Bermuda and also in the Caribbean.

 

She is excited to work with such a dynamic team and looks forward to keeping The Reefs' history alive.

Wyman Lindsay
Wyman Lindsay

Wyman Lindsay, Restaurant Manager

A native Bermudian, Wyman is a graduate of distinction from the Hospitality and Culinary Institute of Bermuda, which is part of Bermuda College. In 2001, Wyman was voted the “Best Food and Beverage Server” by the Visitor Industry Partnership of Bermuda.

 

On his day off, you might find Wyman dining out on Bermuda to see what competitor restaurants are doing.
